PopUp Rhody is an online marketplace for RI establishments to post extra space for retail, event or meeting popups. It's just like Airbnb but rather than posting rooms for rent, businesses post space for popups.
Traditionally, popups referred to a sales event like a jeweler temporarily popping up in a boutique to sell their wares. PopUp Rhody expands the definition of popups to embrace the micro ways people conduct business in today's sharing economy. We've learned that the tools in our sheds and clothes in our closets can be monetized when idle. Using the Internet, people popup to use our stuff when they need it. Well, the same applies to space.
At PopUp Rhody, folks can let others popup in their extra space to:
Work at an extra desk
Meet with colleagues for a presentation or group think
Sell pottery, culinary goods, jewelry...
Celebrate a special occassion - wedding, birthday...
With PopUp Rhody, you can turn your underutilized space into a revenue stream! No counter is too small or space too big to list as an hourly or daily popup rental.
You've Airbnb'd. Now PopUp.
COVID RULES: all parties involved in the organization of popups on the PopUp Rhody marketplace must comply with social gathering limits and adhere to current executive orders, regulations and state guidance relating to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
